Description:

• Translating creative vision and ideas into technically feasible and visually iconic packaging, utilizing advanced 3D design tools in combination with good knowledge of materials, production processes, in line with sustainability and regulatory requirements.

• Mastering technical conception, design, and 3D development of innovative and disruptive packaging solutions that reflect the brand’s commitment to luxury, quality, sustainability and forward-thinking design.

• Support actively the early-stage exploration of disruptive packaging concepts (BlueSky), identifying new forms, mechanisms, and material solutions that push creative and technical boundaries. Proactively scout for emerging technologies, suppliers, and trends to inspire future-ready packaging concepts.

• Ensuring strong knowledge of technical drawings, including the ability to create, read, interpret, and validate component technical documentation. With the clear objective to become the department’s go-to expert for high complexity - technical drawings, offering critical support to packaging engineers and ensuring consistency, clarity, and precision during the ideation, conception and feasability phases.

• Building and leading a comprehensive 3D library of the existing product portfolio, serving as a foundation for accelerated development with potential design reapplications as a platform-based approach across new projects or product and quality improvement programs.

How you will create a beautiful impact:

• Packaging Innovation: Support the creation and development of high-impact primary and secondary packaging concepts and designs
• Packaging Development: Support the development of new components and the optimization of existing ones, ensuring they meet aesthetics, functional and quality requirement
• Technical Development: Collaborate with suppliers and engineers to ensure design feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturing readiness
• 3D Design Expertise: Develop detailed and realistic 3D models of packaging components (rapid & esthetical prototyping) using industry-standard software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, KeyShot) with internal capabilities and external network for prototyping
• High Focus on Quality: Ensure all designs are technically feasible, manufacturable at scale, and meet the brand’s standards in excellent quality
• Sustainability: Integrate sustainable materials and practices into the design process, aligning with internal sustainable-design guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Project Management: Lead or support projects from ideation, trough concept up to production if required, ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and brand identity are met
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as the technical design bridge between Marketing, Creative Teams. Product Development, Procurement, and external vendors
• Trend Monitoring: Stay up to date with trends in packaging innovation, materials science, and luxury aesthetics to inspire new ideas

What you need to have to be our next audacious and creative talent:

Technical Skills:

• Advanced knowledge in 3D design and modeling software such as SolidWorks, Illustrator, Rhino, or equivalent
• Skilled in rendering tools like KeyShot or Octane for high-end visualizations
• Mastery in 3D printing technologies, including operating in-house printers (e.g., SLA, FDM, SLS) and preparing print-ready files
• Strong knowhow in technical drawings and related technologies
• Good understanding of materials characteristics and properties (glass, plastics, metal, biodegradable alternatives)
• Already available or being able to acquire quickly solid knowhow of technical manufacturing processes (injection molding, blow molding, transfer press, printing, glass making, etc.)

Creative Vision:

• Passion for innovation and luxury aesthetics
• Ability to conceptualize unique forms and transform conceptual design ideas into tangible prototypes using rendering or rapid prototyping methods
• Sensitivity to details, proportions, material selection and functionality

• High level of autonomy, initiative, and accountability

2-5 years in packaging or industrial design, ideally within the luxury, beauty, fragrance, or lifestyle industry
