The Outsourced CIO Team in Zurich provides fully tailored investment solutions for High‑Net‑Worth and Ultra‑High‑Net‑Worth individuals with complex wealth structures and bankable assets typically above CHF 10 million.

Acting as trusted investment partners, the team designs, implements, and oversees bespoke discretionary mandates using institutional‑grade portfolio construction, risk management, and asset allocation frameworks.

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Apply a deep understanding of the Bank’s investment strategy to deliver high‑quality solutions aligned with each client’s objectives and constraints

• Cover all major financial asset classes, including fixed income, equities, currencies, alternative investments, commodities, and external funds

• Analyse and optimize aggregated client portfolios based on individual risk profiles, preferences, and investment restrictions

• Deliver comprehensive risk management, performance analytics, and portfolio optimization for clients and prospects

• Develop tailored investment proposals and represent the investment view in client meetings as the dedicated investment expert

• Provide outstanding investment solutions and services to UHNW clients across new and established relationships

• Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers and other investment teams to match strategies and products to client needs

• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of both standard and customized reporting, including performance, risk, and portfolio composition

• Maintain strict adherence to investment guidelines, mandate specifications, and regulatory requirements

• Contribute actively to business development, supporting acquisition efforts in partnership with private bankers and other internal units

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, economics, quantitative finance, research, computer science, management science, or a related field; CFA, CEFA, FRM, or similar certification strongly preferred

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Portfolio Management or a comparable investment function with direct client exposure

• Strong understanding of financial markets and portfolio construction, with the ability to credibly discuss a broad range of asset classes

• Proven track record as an outstanding investment advisor or portfolio manager, ideally in a UHNW or institutional context

• Excellent pitching and presentation capabilities, able to articulate complex concepts clearly and convincingly

• Exceptional client-facing and interpersonal skills, with a strong understanding of UHNW client needs and Private Banker workflows

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong focus on delivery, accountability, and high service standards

• Team-oriented personality with strong attention to detail and collaborative spirit

• Excellent negotiation skills and diplomacy, especially in demanding client interactions

• Demonstrable ability to deliver top-quality results, with a commitment to best-in-class client care

• Highly organized and analytical, capable of managing multiple priorities and responding efficiently to ad hoc requests

• Resilient under pressure, able to adapt to fluctuating workloads and tight deadlines

• Strong communication skills, able to express complex investment ideas in a clear and engaging manner

• Fluency in German and English required; additional languages are a strong asset
