Senior Software Engineer (Backend/Fullstack) 100%

with AI expertise, to join our team at the intersection of AI technology and legal compliance.

This position is fully remote in Europe.

Technology meets Legal/Compliance/Risk Management around AI: You will build scalable systems to help organizations navigate complex AI governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management landscapes.

Core Experience

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years in senior-level roles
• Strong experience with:

1. Python development with modern frameworks (FastAPI preferred)
2. AI integrations and AI product development - hands-on experience building, deploying, and scaling AI-powered applications
3. Architectural design and problem-solving - proven track record of designing scalable, maintainable systems
4. Cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
5. CI/CD pipeline development and DevOps practices
6. Ownership is mandatory: doer and team-player

Development Practices

• Experience with:

1. Development best practices
2. Remote and asynchronous work methodologies
3. Monitoring and observability solutions for production systems
4. Performance optimization and scalability planning
5. Frontend development skills
6. Experience with enterprise-scale applications and high-availability systems

AI Expertise

• Demonstrated experience as an AI user, developer, and enthusiast with:

1. Integration of LLMs, AI agents, and ML models into production systems

4. Knowledge of AI system performance evaluation and optimization

• Experience with audit trails and compliance reporting for AI applications

• Experience mentoring junior developers and conducting code reviews
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with legal and compliance teams
• Experience working with distributed teams and asynchronous communication
