Your role

Are you a digital and social media professional? Do you have an affinity for brand communication and social media campaigns that stand out from the clutter? Are you good with people and are you a born advisor? Can you manage relationships across a global organization? We’re looking for someone who can:

• be the "social media guru” who can offer guidance and advice to Corporate Communications and Business Marketing teams on Social Media campaigns, with a focus on lead acquisition
• review and advise on campaign setup, objectives, content, and reporting
• deep dive into best practices and spread the word across UBS, ensuring that different teams can adopt the very latest tools and techniques across Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and more
• initiate test and learn projects, drive innovative ideas to boost campaign quality and performance
• manage response & dialogue as well as analytics and reporting
• work closely with stakeholders to ensure effective Social Media messaging while maintaining UBS's brand image

Your team

You’ll be working in the Digital Marketing and Social Media team, in Global Brand Management. Our core role is supporting other UBS marketing and comms teams to do Social Media advertising effectively. This encompasses everything from advice on content or objectives to setting up, implementing, and optimizing campaigns using Sprinklr, to helping them manage their agency support. You’re also the "brand police”, the "is that really ready for social” police and the "of course we’ll help you run your Social Media campaign that you can’t afford to use an agency for” service providers…
We're a multi-national team and we operate mostly in English.

Your expertise

• hands on social media expert: able to create, manage and optimize campaigns on social media platforms and using a social media publishing tool (e.g. Sprinklr). You’ll sometimes be working with agencies, but you’ll also often do execution yourself. You need a thorough understanding of the social media world
• 5+ years of relevant work experience with advertising/marketing agencies or in-house. This must include substantial experience in setting up, optimizing and reporting on social media advertising campaigns.
• experience of stakeholder management – able to interact with teams across the firm successfully, understanding their needs and selling ideas to them and to build strong relationships with our customer success staff at the different social platforms
• inquisitive, self starter – able to initiate and develop new ideas for best practices and test and learn projects
• English native speaker with experience of writing and reviewing copy for social media (German would be an added bonus)
• creative with a strong sense of visual and editorial communications and a passion to make our social media channels sing.
• good communication skills, personable & presentable, strong organization skills, attention to details
