Specialist Group Accountanting IFRS

Preparing the monthly financial consolidation data and supporting group’s entities during the closing process / Preparing and running the group’s financial consolidated financial statements, such as profit and loss statement, balance sheet and covenant report / Running the group’s intercompany reconciliation process and supporting entities in resolving the differences / Supporting projects in relation with the further development and maintenance of the consolidation tool and management information system / Running projects in relation to new reporting requirements / Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process of the group / Maintenance of the group’s accounting manual (IFRS) / Daily communication with the group accounting & reporting as well as group’s subsidiaries operating around the world / Various ad-hoc involvements, respectively project responsibilities including group-wide coordination tasks.

Master's or Bachelor's in Economics, Finance or Business Administration / Several years of working experience in a group or business unit controller function / Experience in consolidation and international accounting standards (IFRS) / High analytical ability / IT affinity specially related to consolidation issues / Advanced or professional skills in MS Excel (including working with Macros) / A hands-on and detail-conscious working style / Strong communication skills / A good level of customer focus ensuring the capability of working amicably with people of various nationalities as well as optimally serving the internal customer base which typically consists of managers on all levels of hierarchy / Ability to work reliably and independently under deadline pressure / Fluency in German and English.
