In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Your role and responsibilities

As a SuccessFactors Architect, you will be the technical and functional lead for the design, configuration, and optimization of the SuccessFactors platform to support HR transformation goals. You will ensure that SuccessFactors modules are strategically aligned, fully integrated, and configured to deliver an exceptional user experience and operational efficiency.
You will work closely with the HR BA/Process Expert and HR AI Automation SME to ensure platform capabilities are leveraged to their fullest, integrating process improvements, automation, and analytics into the HR technology ecosystem.

  • Lead the architectural design and configuration of SuccessFactors modules to meet business and compliance requirements.
  • Translate HR process requirements into scalable SuccessFactors solutions.
  • Ensure integration of SuccessFactors with other HR and enterprise systems, including AI and automation platforms.
  • Optimize system performance, workflows, and user interfaces to drive adoption and efficiency.
  • Manage platform governance, including security, permissions, and role-based access.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to HR, IT, and project teams on platform capabilities and best practices.
  • Monitor system usage and adoption, recommending enhancements to maximize value.

Required education
  • Proven expertise in multiple SuccessFactors modules (e.g., Employee Central, Recruiting, Performance & Goals, Learning).
  • Experience designing end-to-end HR technology architectures in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and how they map to SuccessFactors functionalities.
  • Integration knowledge with third-party systems and APIs.
  • Ability to translate functional HR needs into robust technical solutions.
  • AI expertise applied to the HR domain.
  • Fluency in English and German.
  • Swiss/EU passport or valid permit required.
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • SAP SuccessFactors Professional Certified.
  • Experience in large-scale HRIS implementations and rollouts.
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance requirements in HR systems.
