What you're going to do

Our IT infrastructure is critical for the work of all our employees. Therefore, having a modern and stable IT environment is essential to us. As a System Engineer, you will play an important role in the day-to-day IT operations by developing, maintaining and supporting our services and hardware within the workplace environment. While having end-to-end responsibility for workplace-related IT services, like personal devices, office infrastructure, user and communication software, you will get the chance to further nurture your technical interest in your chosen field of expertise. You will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Designing, developing and delivering cloud features and functionality for a strategic platform leveraging Azure, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Managed Desktop, enhancing Adnovum’s internal IT infrastructure
• Monitoring state of the art technologies and advising on their introduction to our environment
• Creating modern workplace solutions to increase productivity, reduce operational costs and simplify how we work with colleagues, customers and third parties
• Providing mentoring and support for 2nd level system administrators
• Analysing and solving defects, initiating and monitoring of actions, handling of service requests
• Working in multinational teams located in Budapest, Switzerland and Vietnam with architectural, business and other engineering functions to shape, design and build solutions

What we're looking for

• Experience of Microsoft 365 technologies focusing on Exchange Online and Entra ID in a hybrid environment
• Knowledge of endpoint management using Microsoft Mobile Device Management tools (Intune)
• Understanding of security best practices
• Strong scripting ability in languages such as PowerShell is an advantage
• Affinity for improving our existing systems based on trending market standards
• Good written and spoken communication skills in English; German knowledge is a plus
