YOUR CHALLENGE

• Perform tax compliance controls in particular with regard to a client’s tax domicile

• Perform in-depth tax compliance reviews based on escalated Tax Offense Monitoring Alerts or specific requests concerning tax fraud, tax evasion or aggressive tax planning

• Establish written case assessments and determine and enforce appropriate course of action, which may include account maintenance, account maintenance under condition, closure or escalation to the AML Desk

• Clarify the circumstances of a case - including participation in meetings or calls with clients | representatives of clients

• Document case clarifications and actions in the respective tools of the bank

• Provide tax compliance advice to Front and other Compliance units in Switzerland and abroad with regard to their tax compliance questions

• Support and continuously develop the bank’s tax compliance control framework

• Establish and perform training sessions for internal staff in the area of tax compliance

YOUR PROFILE

• Degree (Bachelor or Master) in Law, Economics, Audit or Finance

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the private banking sector - preferably at an AML Desk or a dedicated Tax Compliance Desk - or as Junior Tax Consultant within the consulting industry

• Firm accounting skills

• Proficient with IT tools, demonstrating advance skills in MS Office (particularly Excel)

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly

• Self-motivated team player with the passion to investigate fundamental causes

• Strong sense of responsibility and impeccable integrity

• Fluent in German and English, any further languages are an advantage
