For our MedTech sector, we are currently looking for a Head of Medical Affairs EMEA - Electrophysiology to be based in Switzerland on a permanent contract.
The Head of Medical Affairs EMEA - Electrophysiology will oversee the regional Medical Scientific Liaison team. This position is responsible for developing and executing the vision, mission and goals for the Medical Office, in alignment with the company’s business strategy.
This position will play a pivotal role in shaping the medical direction of Electrophysiology regionally, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and driving innovation in medical technology development.
This role will provide medical and scientific leadership expertise in the area of Electrophysiology and the management of patients in related clinical disciplines.
The successful candidate will report directly to the VP of Scientific Affairs and will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop strategy and achieve business objectives.
This position will have regional responsibility with team members (MSLs) based across Europe.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Electrophysiology).
+10 years’ experience in Medical Affairs, ideally within the MedTech Industry.
Extensive relevant business experience in Electrophysiology
Cardiovascular industry and clinical electrophysiology knowledge strongly preferred
Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to build successful relationships with internal and external partners globally/regionally
Strong communication and negotiation skills to successfully influence and implement policy with key customers and partners.
Willingness to commute 40-50% of the time
