We are seeking a proactive Medical Affairs Associate to support European and international Medical Affairs activities for a pharmaceutical company. This is a junior-level contract role suited to candidates with a scientific background who are looking to gain experience in Medical Affairs. The position offers exposure to congresses, cross-functional projects, and medical systems, with the opportunity for longer-term growth.
Your Tasks:

• Manage administrative processes within Medical Affairs, including contracts, supplier onboarding, and sponsorship requests in internal systems.
• Support congress preparation and execution: organising logistics, coordinating materials, and liaising with commercial, legal, and regulatory teams on visuals and messaging.
• Assist in the review and approval of medical materials within compliance systems.
• Provide project management support, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
• Collaborate across global teams to ensure aligned execution of projects.
• Work closely with Medical Affairs leadership on planning, budgeting, and reporting.
• Contribute to business and strategic discussions under supervision, while gaining exposure to cross-functional decision-making.

Your Profile:

• Degree in Life Sciences (Pharmacy, Biology, Medicine, or related field.
• First experience in Medical Affairs or pharmaceutical industry (internship or 1–2 years ideal).
• Strong organizational and project management skills; able to work independently.
• Flexible, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (10–20%).
