• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for our smart devices, including SmartAntenna, Display5, SmartSwitch, and other safety components
• Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and perception engineers to ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs 
• Participate in architecture discussions, low-level design (LLD), and refinement processes, to ensure robust and scalable solutions
• Investigate and resolve critical issues across firmware and hardware integration layers, including GNSS validation, logging protocols, and debug port handling 
• Support release management and participate in sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives as part of our agile development cycle 
• Maintain high standards of code quality through peer reviews, unit testing, test automation, and continuous integration practicess

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in embedded software development
• Experience with embedded operating systems
• Proficiency in C/C++
• Knowledge of communication protocols (SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232) and microcontroller platforms (ARM Cortex-M, STM32, etc.)
• Experience in embedded Linux development (Yocto, OpenWRT)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Git, JIRA, and CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively across disciplines
• Passion for building high-quality products with measurable impact
• Committed to clean code and best software development practices
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer mine visits or test deployments

• Experience with FreeRTOS or NuttX
• Expert knowledge in GNSS and positioning systems
