We are looking for Transcend: Global Change Manager in our Supply Chain organisation.
This position will be located (onsite/hybrid) in ; Beerse, Belgium. Alternate onsite/hybrid locations may be considered at other Innovative Medicine Supply Chain hub sites such as Raritan, New Jersey; Gurabo, Puerto Rico; Titusville, New Jersey; Cork, Ireland; Latina, Italy; Zug, Switzerland.
Transcend is a global business transformation program that will modernize our foundational transactional processes and harmonize them into one "clean” ERP as a standardized platform for growth and efficiency gains. This program will simplify the Pharmaceutical ERP landscape from 7 to 1, standardizing processes to have a cost-effective, fit-for-purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Pharmaceutical business with agility. Additionally, the program will remediate the end-of-life system exposure that we risk towards the end of this decade.
Playing an important leadership role with the J&J Innovative Medicine Transcend team, the Global Change Manager will serve as a functional lead for one or more functional process areas and works heavily across the Transcend workstreams as well as directly with business partners, ensuring the effective management of change within the their functional scope of responsibility (Make, Plan/Source, Deliver, R&D, Commercial, Finance, AT, etc.).
The Global Change Manager will be accountable to end-to-end (E2E) change assessments and impact summaries within their scope. They will cultivate a deep understanding of E2E organization and cultivate positive relationships with functional teams and business partners to drive successful change implementation.
Central to their responsibilities is a focus on the human aspect of change by preparing and sharing with the program team and business change artifacts to drive critical discussion tied business processes, systems, technology, roles shifts. Additionally, they will collaborate with peers in business adoption, training, and communications to monitor change targets and track progress for their respective areas.
The Global Change Manager will also play a critical role in handling resistance and driving the acceptance of change through proactive engagement and inclusive dialogue. You will build and sustain diverse business partnerships across the Innovative Medicine community, specifically within Supply Chain functional areas, to lead global change initiatives tied to the transformation. The successful candidate will proactively seek out, establish and sustain a diverse set of business partnerships across assigned team member groups within the Innovative Medicine community such as Supply Chain, Commercial, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Enterprise SC Data Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support workstream execution of change strategy for the Transcend program, emphasizing engagement and understanding of Transcend's value proposition across the entire E2E continuum
- Through the facilitation and hosting of workshops, build critical global change artifacts for validation and sign off; such as personas, user journeys, pain points, change impacts assessments and value/experience identification for assigned functional areas (Make, Plan/Source, Deliver, Commercial, R&D, Finance, etc.)
- Collect and measure relevant metrics for owned functional workstreams using global framework, methodology, and ways of working
- Build a comprehensive change story across personas, functions, capabilities and E2E change impact assessments to be brought to bear in business communications at various levels for owned workstream
- Collaborate closely with PMO, Site Enablement, and Business Adoption teams to implement a robust business readiness plan for successful platform migration
- Identify and communicate recommended training areas associated with global change impacts and provide support to adjacent organizations on adoption and communication elements
- Coordinate with workstream leads such as - Site Readiness, Business Adoption, Process, and PMO - to share critical artifacts and findings; as well as track and report progress against targets
- Challenge status quo to ensure process efficiencies and change needed is both realized and business value captured
- Drive appropriate and varying levels of dialogue with process design and business contacts to ensure change impacts are not lost in discussions and can be captured as relevant
- Build partnerships with business, functional, and process leaders to drive successful outcomes associated with the people side of change
- Contribute strategic inputs to the Communications and Engagement Strategy
Qualifications:
Education:
- Minimum of High School or equivalent diploma/degree is required; Bachelor’s / University or equivalent degree is strongly desired, preferably with a focused degree in Supply Chain, Business, Marketing, Technology, Engineering, or Organizational Psychology
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience
- Hands-on experience with change efforts, methodologies, and techniques (such as building user personas, journey maps, change impact assessments and change mitigation and realization strategies)
- Experience in Supply Chain, Commercial, and/or R&D functions
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with ability to deliver succinct messages and influence and engage partners at all levels and drive outcomes
- Exceptional leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire, develop, and lead high-performing teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, savvy at identifying risks and devising effective mitigation strategies across complex problems
Preferred:
- Exposure to one or more Supply Chain functions (e.g., Plan, Source, Make, Deliver) and/or Non functional domain (e.g. R&D, Finance, Data)
- SAP or other major ERP implementation experience highly preferred
Other:
- Requires proficiency in English (written and verbal) to communicate effectively and professionally; proficiency in German, Dutch, Spanish, or Italian is helpful
- May require up to 30% travel, domestic and/or international
- Requires the ability, through our flexible work policy, to work on-site a minimum of three days each week, with the option for two remote workdays each week
