The TRAX Consultant will support the implementation, configuration, and optimization solution integrated with SAP systems. The role focuses on ensuring accurate indirect tax determination, compliance, and automation across multiple jurisdictions. The consultant will collaborate with tax, IT, and finance teams to align system functionality with business requirements and ensure smooth end-to-end tax processes.
Implement and configure TRAX for indirect tax automation within SAP environments.
Analyze business and tax requirements and translate them into system configurations.
Collaborate with tax, finance, and IT stakeholders to ensure accurate tax determination and reporting.
Manage and support TRAX-SAP integration (FI, SD, MM modules).
Perform testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution during implementation and production support.
Provide user training, documentation, and continuous improvement recommendations.
Support tax compliance processes and ensure system alignment with local tax regulations.
Strong understanding of indirect tax processes (VAT, GST, Sales & Use Tax).
Knowledge of SAP modules (FI, SD, MM) and their integration with TRAX.
Ability to analyze tax determination logic and map tax rules to system configuration.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
NICE TO HAVEExperience with SAP S/4HANA environments.
Familiarity with ONESOURCE Determination or other tax engine tools (Vertex, Avalara, etc.).
Basic knowledge of ABAP or SAP technical debugging.
Exposure to global tax reporting and automation projects.
Experience in working in multi-country or multinational tax setups.
