Access JP Inc. was founded by the current managing directors Azuma Matsui and Mayumi Kato in 1986.

Since then, Access has focused on the strategic applications of marketing research, particularly qualitative research. For nearly 25 years we have been helping our clients develop, implement and manage strategic business, marketing, branding, positioning and communication strategies based on an in-depth understanding of their target consumers.

Access is a full member of both ESOMAR and the Japan Market Research Association (JMRA) and also Privacy Mark certified, a qualification granted by Japan Information Processing Development Corporation.

Specialist International Research Team

We have a team of 7 who specialize in managing inbound/outbound research and native speakers of English, Chinese, and German who are also bilingual in Japanese on staff.

International Research Track Record

Have conducted quantitative/qualitative research projects in all countries in East/Southeast Asia and have a network of partner agencies that we have met personally and work closely with.

Facilities

Our office and interview rooms are located in Harajuku - one of the main centers of fashion in Tokyo – close to major business areas Shinjuku and Shibuya. We have two fully-equipped interview rooms - one with one-way mirror and one with video monitoring.
