Our core investment strategy is the active turnaround of companies in underperforming situation which demonstrate viable market opportunities, a stable and committed client base with tangible and realizable operational improvement potentials. After the successful turnaround and repositioning of our companies we seek to divest from our investment and develop a promissing exit scenario for the companies. Our main regional investment focus is Switzerland. We only invest in mature companies with liquidity, operational or balance sheet problems but which have sound core business fundamentals.

Team

Our team consists of senior professionals coming from investment and recovery banking, consulting and industry. The team worked together for several years, heading and driving the restructuring and performance improvement service units of a big 4 Advisory department. The team has substantial experience and executed numerous turnarounds and restructuring, working capital reduction, cost optimization and operational excellence projects. We act as strategic and operational sparring partners for the management teams of our portfolio companies.

Investment Criteria´s

Target Companies: - Medium sized companies with revenue base between CHF 20 - 300 million - Promising business model with existing market demand and sustainable competitive advantages - Underperformance with significant and manageable improvement potentials (EBIT negative, equity at risk, management mistakes, owner missed systematic succession) Targeted Ownership level: - Control / majority position (>75%) Investment Horizon: - Depending on the achievement of the turnaround (2 - 6 years) Geographical Focus: - Switzerland - Opportunistic approach in Germany and Austria Industry Focus: - Opportunistic approach, no Biotechnology Investments
