Our current and past portfolio brands have opened over 3,000 restaurants in 45 states and more than 35 countries. Fransmart and our partner brands are committed to growth—as of 2011, over 1,000 new restaurants are in development across our current portfolio. Fransmart targets emerging concepts that are ripe for expansion, in line with evolving customer tastes, and ahead of industry trends. Brands invited to join the Fransmart portfolio must also meet a stringent set of requirements, including competitive positioning within a growing segment, solid financial qualifiers like unit level economics and sales-to-investment ratios, strong operational systems and support, visionary management teams, and sound real estate models.
