Zope is not dead! Plone and other projects are using it as solid, mature basis in large production environments. Nevertheless, also on mature projects some renovation has to be done and now it is time for a new round: Zope 4.0 The successor of 2.13, without unnecessary burdens of the past but with WSGI support.
