Heart of Arizona Optimal Care

Dürfen wir uns vorstellen?

Heart of Arizona Optimal Care offers access to cutting edge cardiac care prevention programs, providing treatment without limiting patients to what insurance carriers will cover. Dr. Anne-Marie Feyrer-Melk developed the Heart of Arizona Optimal Care program out of frustration over a system that did not allow her to provide the level of personalized care that she felt her patients deserved. Due to systemic deficiencies in the insurance reimbursement model, physicians throughout the nation are prevented from offering laboratory studies, cardiovascular tests, and particularly individualized time and attention that help them identify and eradicate strokes and heart attacks. She has designed the Heart of Arizona Optimal Care program to provide screenings, specialized technologies, and the time necessary to comprehensively evaluate heart and blood vessel health, identifying and assessing cardiac risks before tragedy strikes.

At Heart of Arizona Optimal Care, patients may still utilize insurance as a traditional model for office consultations and routine standard-of-care cardiovascular tests. Her new private practice, Heart of Arizona Optimal Care, differs in that it requires a retainer fee for the special services and technologies not covered under health insurance plans. The Heart of Arizona Optimal Cardiac Care model eliminates the 15-minute physician consultations and 8 minute follow-up visits that are typical under insurance-based models, allowing for extended one-on-one time with Dr. Feyrer-Melk. Heart of Arizona Optimal Care offers thorough consultations and ongoing counseling with a PhD exercise specialist, and nutritional evaluations with a PhD holistic nutritionist. At Heart of Arizona Optimal Care, patients also benefit from living will counseling, ensuring that they have all necessary paperwork completed in case of any unforeseen medical event.

At Heart of Arizona Optimal Care, program tests go beyond the traditional care model to include carotid wall thickness testing to assess vascular age and coronary calcium scoring. Dr. Anne-Marie Feyrer-Melk utilizes the Bale/Doneen method of laboratory studies, undertaking inflammatory, lipid, genetic, and other advanced assessment methodologies She performs urine and salivary testing in the office to assess for cardiovascular risk. She is proud of her systematic and personally tailored heart disease prevention profile. The advanced diagnostic tools allow Dr. Feyrer-Melk to offer patients at Heart of Arizona Optimal Care with preventive care medicine based not only on on an accurate assessment of health risks, but the actual presence of disease.
