Suburban Turban is a dedicated online headwear service for women experiencing significant hair loss.  We have been online since 2007 and now retail via the Internet in 12 countries overseas. 

Our brief is simple - to make stylish and attractive headwear, to increase women’s self confidence at what is often a traumatic time.  Our designs make any adaptation for hair loss ‘invisible’ and we develop normal ‘everyday’ styles that offer complete and secure coverage.  We size all our headwear, and grade our patterns/fabrics for comfortable extended wear.

We work in the UK with the NHS, private hospital networks – BMI, Spire, BUPA and many major UK charities – Maggie’s Centres, Breast Cancer Care, and Macmillan.  Overseas we work with long term hair loss charities specifically NAAF, USA (to which we donate) and Australia Alopecia Areata Foundation Inc. (AAAF).  In the UK we work with Alopecia Org.UK and the children’s Alopecia charity BeBoldOrg.
