For more than three decades, Vidicom has built a network of media relationships and driven the creation of new methods for distributing branded content. The company started out by filming lifestyle-driven video news releases, becoming the first to film fashion shows with broadcast media in mind along the way. Vidicom has since pioneered several other markets, ranging from in-hotel television to seat-back television in taxis to interactive online offerings. Along the way, the company has worked with national retailers; international brands in the fashion, medicine, and entertainment fields; and numerous other companies to create customized content distribution plans.

Vidicom offers its long experience in video creation and promotion to brands through a number of platforms. Corporations can make use of its team to create eye-popping “sizzle reels” for investors and employees. Nonprofits can work with Vidicom producers to identify the best audiences for their messages and to develop effective outreach videos, and brands running major events can use Vidicom to capture top-quality B-roll footage to help generate news coverage. Vidicom also specializes in producing short, “snack-sized” videos ideal for distribution online, through social media, and through the Vidicom network.

The success of Vidicom’s programming has not gone unnoticed in the public relations world. In 2012, the Public Relations Society of America awarded the company a Bronze Anvil Award “for superior performance in the design and execution of an individual tactic within a broader public relations program.” Vidicom earned the award for a webcast it designed for a major fashion brand via its InteracTV service. The campaign, which involved experts on the brand interacting with fans online, created a 46% spike in traffic to the brand’s social media and generated a total of 7 million impressions.
