Wendy Soucie, principal, provides B2B Manufacturing clients with strategy and plan development to use and measure social media cross functionally in your organization. Wendy applies and follows specific social media strategy and frameworks for assessments, network growth, participation and implementation from the Society3 Academy (Palo Alto, CA), where she is an Alumni, founding member and faculty. Wendy was also a co-founder of Social Business Consulting Group , an international consultancy group with 80 social media strategists, specialists and technical staff, all trained in a uniform, client-proven methodology. This group provides enterprise-level services for large corporations.
She provides specific operational and role-based training for clients on social media tools through the use of webinars, group presentations and private one-on-one coaching sessions. Through Wendy Soucie Consulting LLC, Wendy works with clients headquartered in Wisconsin, the Midwest and nationally.

Soucie’s strength is her blend of social media savy, engineering process thinking, hunter sales methodology, product management and Internet marketing expertise. As a skilled trainer and speaker, she excels at teaching clients to make the leap from strategy to action and–ultimately–independence. She is an accomplished professional speaker and holds a training certification from Integrated Alliances, a national training firm on LinkedIn and social media tools.

Years of Experience
For more than 30 years, Soucie has developed and implemented B2B marketing strategies and business development for clients in technical industries and within professional service firms. She has worked with some of the largest manufacturers in Wisconsin including Harley Davidson, Bucyrus Erie, Twin Disc, Oilgear, Oscar Mayer, Webster Electric, Fairbanks Morse, Beloit Corp, University of Wisconsin, Alliant Energy, Wisconsin Electric, and Madison Gas & Electric. Her experience covers capital equipment sales, distributors, manufacturer representative, OEM and end user facilities. At one point she worked from the roof top air emission monitoring system of a manufacturing plant to the basement wastewater treatment system.
As the buying and sales process has changed, the approach to sales and marketing also needs to change. Understand that the power of 3 in the marketing mix no longer exists. Wendy helps B2B companies understand social business relationships, build strategy and move to the power of 7 or 10 tactics in multiple channels including the Internet and social media.

Education and Certification
Soucie holds her Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from the University of Rhode Island, Kingston, Rhode Island USA. Wendy is holds an Advanced Certification as a Social Media Strategist and Consultant and founding member (Gold) of the Society3 Academy and has completed advanced course work in Social Media Business Strategy and Leadership.
In this consultant role Soucie supports businesses based in Wisconsin and in the Midwest. Additional collaboration and support is provided to Society3 Academy alumni for projects.
She has continued her education with executive coursework in solution selling, team building and leadership, marketing management, territory management, professional speaking skills, tradeshow marketing management as well as developing and managing distributors and representatives.
Memberships and Activities
As a founding manager of Social Media Breakfast Madison, Wendy supports and advocates for social media. She works to bring best practice discussion, knowledge sharing and fun to the business community in Madison, WI while supporting other group efforts. Recently Wendy was also voted in as 2011 chairman-elect for the Social Media Club of Madison, a international social media organization supporting social media efforts for business and individuals.
