I am at the University of Stuttgart in the computer science department and part of the SimTech Cluster of Excellence. I am heading the Human Computer Interaction Group in VIS. We are interested in how to create efficient and pleasant user interfaces for many application domains, including automotive UIs, mobile systems, and interactive environments. We use a wide variety of sensors (cameras, eye tracking, physiological sensors) to enable interaction with all sense.

At the university of Duisburg-Essen am I the head of the Pervasive Computing and User Interface Group.
