I assisted the Platform Team at RaiseNow during the migration of the microservices from DC/OS to Apache Fargate, and used my previous knowledge of the system to assist with some new developments.

I helped design, develop and operate the new microservices-based platform. I was tech lead for the integration of online and offline payments, for automating third-party reseller integration, and for some of the core platform services.

I joined again GetYourGuide on a temporary contract to assist with maintenance and extension of core modules and services, including integration with new payment providers, adding machine translation for user-generated content, performance and reliability improvements. Later on I joined the new Marketing Technology team to scale up the generation and management of AdWords bids from a few thousand to millions of entries.

As the main web interface developer, I maintained and extended the applications of the Constructor suite, to build and price derivative products.

As a Software Engineer I collaborated in most parts of the backend. I was responsible for the internal translation solution, contributed to performance and reliability efforts, and was in charge of the complete rewrite of the backend for mobile devices. As a System Administrator I've been in charge of the test and production servers, including web servers, databases, load balancers, ElasticSearch and RabbitMQ clusters. I have also improved the deployment and monitoring tools.
