I took part of a big project of the data acquisition and monitoring of two ponto-caspian goby species that have been recently introduced in the Upper Danube river. My collaboration continued also after the end of my scholarship. My main tasks were the manipulation of a very big electronic dataset, in order to make it easier to handle, then running statistical analysis. I was required to learn the rudiments of the use of the program "R" for statistical purposes. A paper is in phase of revision right now
