CHECK24 is an online comparison portal, and it offers private customers free comparisons in the areas of insurance, energy, finance, telecommunications, travel, and shopping with over 15 million customers and 40+ different products.

L-One Systems is a company that contains 50+ employees and provides software solutions to their customers like websites and mobile applications, and I am currently working with them in their office in Damascus. And my duties with them are: • Creating & maintaining the front end for various mid-to-large-scale web apps. • Building reusable components & services, unit testing them to ensure all works fine. • Designing & integrating new features that aim to improve business efficiency for their clients.

At the end of 2018, I started TIEQODE as software solutions online company with a group of my colleagues, we worked with a lot of clients inside and outside my country, and all of those clients give us good feedback about our work. My main job with TIEQODE team was: • Create the front-end part of websites like e-commerce, portfolio, blogs, and landing pages. • Design mobile application user interface elements and layouts (UI/UX Design). • Create wireframes, concepts, prototypes, and UI mockups.

Wizme is a UK company with a team of around 20 employees. We worked together on their own product which is a meeting and group booking management solution for venue intermediaries, and organizations that provide end-to-end automation of the booking process. My role with them was: • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers. • Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, widgets...etc. • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.

I worked for Le Chiffre for 4 months, we worked on a game called Prometheus OS and I worked as a UI developer so I designed the menus and the whole game style, then convert that design into code using the Unity game engine and C sharp programming language. My responsibilities were: • Design the game UI and make the game menu elements. • Convert these designs to a real game using Unity engine and C#.

I joined to TIEQODE team, then we started to design & develop Blogger/WordPress themes in the Envato Market (ThemeForest). So far, we've published 5 themes with total sales of 100+ and 4.6/5.0 customer ratings. And my work here was: • Design and Develop a WordPress blog and magazine theme. • Create documentation and publish these designs to the Themeforest market.

My very first job was as a freelancer graphic designer in the 99designs community. I entered a lot of company contests to design logos and business cards. I left this work because I moved to UI/UX designing and web development. My work included: • Design logos, company identities, and social media posts. • Design personal business cards, resumes, banners, PowerPoint presentations...etc.

The work experience and the knowledge that I've gained from college prepared me well to continue my higher education. So I started a master's degree at SVU because it is one of the best universities in Syria, and this master's will help me get more skills that will put me on the right way to pursue professional experience and let me stay up-to-date with the latest technologies in the world of web design & development.

I was always fascinated by computers and technologies, and at school, Math and computer science were my favorite subjects. They were taking me to another world where time does not exist. Thus, I knew that computers should be at the heart of my career. So after finishing high school, I choose to study at the faculty of information technology engineering at Damascus University as I saw it as an essential field for all organizations and it offers plenty of opportunity for progression and growth.
