Purpose of project: To evaluate the overall impact of a workplace wellness program on employees’ physical and mental health, work life balance, productivity, and overall health status while focusing on improving physical activity and healthy eating.

Created, developed, and implemented lesson plans, lectures, and activities for 550 students. Lead and taught activities such as yoga, body weight training, and mobile gym. Communicated and interacted with students in-person and via e-mail. Organized and administered beginning/end of year fitness testing; assessing students’ cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, body composition, and flexibility. Administered and graded labs, out of class activities, and academic tests.

Created and developed new ideas for the renewal of the Physical Activity Lifestyle and Nutrition (PLAN) program for 2016. Created instructional diagram for fitness center stretch cage. Observed employee fitness assessments. Observed fitness classes.
