Developed a tool for extracting solar cell structure from high resolution images and use it to build an accurate printing recipe for ink-jet printer. Used state of the art deep learning to detect grid patterns in high resolution images with subpixel accuracy of 0.5 pixel. Calibrated high resolution automated imaging system with an accuracy of less than 10 µm.

• Worked with customers and the clearance team to provide the documentations and govern- mental approvals required by the customs for clearance. Coordinated with Sales, Operations and Customer Service teams to update processes to ensure on time clearance and delivery of shipments.

• Developed minority support vector machines for imbalanced dataset classification. The classifier performed %38 better than other classifiers. • Built a framework for Arabic text classification in comic books, it reduced the the number of features by 5.3 times, and achieved %52 better accuracy. • Assisted students in the Control and Instrumentation laboratories, and worked with the instructors on session preparations, exams and grading.

• Worked on a SmartTaxi app. Focused on improving the visualization and tracking of the driver/client locations on the map, and worked on the localization of the app in Arabic. Also met with the drivers testing the app to discuss feedback and suggestions.
