Reported to the CEO in Brazil and the CFO for Latin America, managing a team of 106 employees (5 direct), being responsible for the Financial, Administrative, Legal, Facilities, Operations, and Logistics areas. Analyzed and controlled the Cash Flow, CAPEX, OPEX, and SG&A. Carried out external and internal audit including J-SOX controls. Automated and optimized processes and systems (Microsoft AX12, TM1 Cognos, and Power BI). Led the budget and forecast processes.

Reported to the VP Finance CALA Region and managed a team of 28 employees (6 direct), being responsible for the financial Area (Fiscal, Tax Planning, Costs, FP&A, Accounting, and Treasury). Analyzed and controlled the CAPEX, OPEX, and SG&A. Managed the risks and SOX controls. Consolidated the company’s reports and the related analyses. Automated and optimized processes and systems (SAP, HFM Rogue, and Power BI). Was involved with Treasury, AR and AP, hedge accounting and in the relationship with banks.

Reported to the local CFO and Global Controller, managing a team of 14 employees (2 direct), being responsible for closing and reporting in USGAAP / IFRS. Analyzed and controlled the CAPEX, OPEX, SG&A, forecasts, and analysis of cash flow. Led the SOX controls as well as the automation and optimization of processes and systems (BI and JDE). Reduced the closing deadline by 2 business days. Avoided costs of R$ 9 million regarding the impact of the new drivers law.

Reported to the Division Controller and BU Global Controllers, managing a team of 6 direct employees, being responsible for closing and reporting in USGAAP / IFRS / CPCs, Cash Flow, Hedging, Tax Planning, and Transfer price. Controlled the CAPEX and OPEX, Risk Management, and carried out internal and external audits. Reduced the Bad Debt Provision by R$ 7.5 million and the total Past Due from R$ 22.4 million to R$ 14.5 million.

• Management of all Finance, Accounting, Costs, Tax, Payroll, Import and Export function. Accounting in local currency and US$ (Brazilian GAAP/IFRS and US-GAAP), corporate accountability system, Tax Planning, Fiscal Issues (ensure in compliance with the statutory and fiscal law), budgets, forecasts, cost, management reports and the corporate finance module in SAP. (International experience – member of the IFRS Global Network team: knowledge strengthen and dissemination)

•Performing preventive maintenance and supervision in high voltage substations and armored medium-voltage cubicles. •Preventive maintenance in high voltage and medium high voltage substations, stress testing: cables and muffles, lightning arresters, transformers, relays and circuit breakers. •Grounding systems measurement and inspection in lightning arresters structures. •Thermography service on electrical systems, thermal, mechanical, and pipelines •Completion of 138/88kV substations diagrams.
