Andrea Strauss

Assistant Director of Instrumental Activities/Music Education/Supervisor of Student Teachers With the recent initiative of an instrumental music education degree program in the School of the Arts at Shorter University, Dr. Strauss’ teaching responsibilities include instrumental conducting, instrumental techniques, instrumental music education methods, marching band methods, and woodwind, brass, percussion, and string pedagogy. In addition, Professor Strauss directs the marching band and wind ensemble.
