Generating business with clients in the Mail/Express/Logistics sector is the easy description for this comprehensive task: I am working closely with our clients to understand their current business issues and help them by coming up with a suitable solution that clearly addresses their current needs and points out their benefits. Trustful long-term relationships as well as my 10-year-experience in the sector form an essential basis for my successful work.

I have build a team of 5 members which focused especially on business consulting in logistics. I have done various projects for Logica's clients as either Project Manager or Business Analyst/Senior Management Consultant: all of them with a particular focus on processes in logistics (esp. inventory management, warehouse & distribution, production). I have been PMI certified Project Manager (PMP) and additionally have great experience in requirements management as well as requirements definition/description.

In the context of a software product development team (< 40 members) for a business travel management solution I used to be subproject lead and requirements manager for the rental car team: our goal was connecting established car rental companies as well as leading travel booking platforms (like e.g. Amadeus) to allow easy bookings for agents and travellers directly through our business travel management solution. Furthermore I developed a concept of how to deal with exonyms and endonyms of geographic data.

I have done several WMS implementation projects with EXE Technologies' EXceed 4000 WMS (now INFOR) in various roles and responsibilities: I defined business and system requirements according to particular clients' needs, I assured functional quality of the system and I supported clients' physical operations during roll-out phase. Additionally, I held user trainings, I supported EXE's R&D to define and test new modules of the product, I presented presales show cases and took over my first PM responsibilities
