Responsibilities: • Creating and maintaining a private cloud OpenStack based • Maintaining public cloud based on AWS Projects: • Private cloud (provisioning of OpenStack controllers, compute and network nodes using puppet. Integration with existing information systems) • Custom ZFS storage for VmWare based infrastructure (goal of the project was to replace NetApp storage and reduce OpEx) • Implement cinder driver for custom ZFS storage

Responsibilities: • Support and maintenance of more than 20 Oracle Databases including 2 DWHs. • Perform database monitoring, maintenance, reorganisations, resource management, schema management, capacity planning and performance tuning. • Perform deep technical troubleshooting of poor database performance, tune SQL queries Projects: • Transition to new billing system from Huawei (was responsible for data migration and integration existing information systems with new billing)

Responsibilities: • Implementation of high-available solution for business critical and mission critical systems • Implementation of cross datacenter disaster recovery plan • Storage area network design and support • Database administration during the absence of the primary administrator DBA Engineer Projects: • New corporate data center for systems resiliency (All things related to storage area network, unix operating systems, backups and traffic load balancing)

Responsibilities: • Installation and maintenance hardware. • Solaris and Linux operating systems maintenance • Maintenance of corporate backup systems based on Netbackup and StorageTek tape libraries • Responsible for PostgreSQL, MySQL databases • Administration of Storage Arrays (HDS, StorageTek, NetApp) Projects: • Redesign Brocade based SAN and Netbackup infrastructure. • Virtualization platform for corporate services based on Xen hypervisor • Centralised monitoring system for Unix like OS - Zabbix

Responsibilities: • Providing security consultancy on a range of IT and business projects, to ensure they are delivered with effective information security considerations • Investigating security events and alerts, taking into account application logs, security appliances, user activity, and known vulnerabilities • Conduct audits of security log sources and documenting evidence for auditors, raising tickets where appropriate and working with internal teams to progress issues detected through to resolution
