Fluidyne Fluid Power is a manufacturer and distributor of hydraulic pumps and components located in Detroit, MI. The company has been family owned for over 20 years.

The Media Finance Group is a financial and strategic advisory firm. We provide analysis and transaction support and guide small and midsize firms through financing transactions and provide interim CFO services.

After guiding the company through a debt restructuring transaction in November of 2019 as independent consultant I was asked to come on board for an interim period to build out a working finance department from the ground up including the hiring of a finance team including a Controller, Financial Analyst, Sr and Jr Accountant. My main goal was to establish internal policies, protocols and accounting procedures and establish a periodic reporting routine for the board of directors and lenders.

The Film Department is an independent movie finance, production and international sales company, capitalized with $200 million, which allows the company to fully finance and produce up to six films per year budgeted between $10 and $45 million. Direct overall financial policies and oversee all financial functions, including accounting, budget, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury. Designed and coordinated wide variety of accounting and statistical data and reports.

The Yari Film Group, was an entertainment company that financed, produced, and distributed motion pictures (Crash, Illusionist, Hostage, Prime, Matador, The Hoax, etc.). Directed all accounting functions, including the establishment and maintenance of the organization’s accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives. Prepared all financial reports. Supervised accounting staff of 15 and reported to CFO.

Splendid Pictures, a U.S. subsidiary of a publicly traded German Media company specialized in the finance, production and distribution of motion pictures (NARC, Catch Me If You Can, Agent Cody Banks). Oversaw all accounting functions and administrative related issues that affected overall organization. Worked closely with German Controller, reported directly to parent company’s CFO.

Augustin Partners is an international tax consulting firm specializing in providing comprehensive tax and business services to German businesses and individuals with U.S. business interests. Planned client engagements, assigned projects to staff, and supervised execution of tasks. Managed compliance work for client with $1 billion U.S. investment portfolio. Trained new staff accountants and reported to Partners.

Dr. Günther Grewe is an international tax consulting firm focused on inbound and outbound tax planning and compliance for German multinational companies. Managed internal profit center with staff of 3 and was responsible for budgeting and billing each project. Reconciled high net worth client’s entire financial U.S. investments (in excess of $50 million) and setup monthly reporting procedures with client’s German Controller.
