Building EYA up from an annual EU-wide award to a unique European-wide initiative for start-up founders, entrepreneurs and young people using digital technologies to improve society in Europe & MENA. Planning & organizing all EYA activities (events, student & mentoring programs, etc). Creating & managing a strong supporting (incl. sponsorship and fundraising) and reputable media network. Responsible for the budget. Developing & supervising the communication strategy. Recruiting & leading the EYA team.

Supervising 2-3 bar commis in the larger of two bar areas, compiling beverage orders, nightly accounting, setting up the bar, mixing and inventing cocktails and contributing to a convivial atmosphere. Sought out for the position by bar manager as someone he knew would easily cope with the pace and generate success during the busy December period - December’s takings were the best of the year.

As part of a team of 6, planning and coordinating availability of artists’ dressing rooms, liaising with and providing full support services to 100 dressers and organising transportation of costumes for opera and theatre plays between 10 venues around the city.

Performing legal research, preparing client correspondence, drafting legal opinions and analysing corporate business data for one of Austria’s leading law firms specialising in areas of competition, contract and corporate law.

Sep-Nov 2012 & Dec 2011 - Jan 2012 Fulfilling the requirement to work 5 months in court in order to work in the legal profession in Austria.

Undertaking legal research, preparing text for database and drawing up legal opinions for this multinational law firm advising national and multinational corporations, financial institutions and governments.

July & August Communicating with and providing full support services for artists, distributing over 2000 complimentary and dress rehearsal tickets for all theatre performances, responsible for all ensuing ticket accounting. Organising festivities, including rental of locations, price negotiations with suppliers, and planning and scheduling sequence of events.

Feb-Apr Managing full support services for international classical artists efficiently and patiently meeting their needs and exclusive requirements and coordinating all complimentary tickets. Supervising rehearsals and fully managing distribution of 2300 dress rehearsal tickets for the opera, answering all queries and taking full responsibility for ticketing of the event.

Processing orders of festival promotion material, organisation of presentation event for festival wine and selling advertising space in festival booklets.

May-Aug Providing full support services for international artists ensuring their needs and requirements are met and distributing over 4500 complimentary and dress rehearsal tickets for all opera and concert performances, responsible for all ensuing ticket accounting.

July & August Selling tickets for opera, concert and theatre plays, advising and consulting with customers, answering queries and providing excellent customer service for about 255k visitors annually. Fully responsible for allocating reservations, credit card transactions and accounting of large sums daily, personally achieving the largest daily turnover in the team in 2005.
