• Head of Accounting department (4 FTE: Record to Report, Procure to Pay) • Since 2015: registered manager (Prokurist) • Responsible for year-end close, Financial Statements (USGAAP/UGB) • Main contact for Auditors, tax topics, external reports, transfer pricing, etc. • Set new frame of Internal Controls, implementation of SAP. • Major project: Separation Lead for spin-off of Abbotts’ Pharma Division: foundation of the new legal entity AbbVie GmbH; termination of service agreements with Abbott.

• Head of Controlling and Demand/Purchasing department (4 FTE); • Manage Sales & Operations Planning; ensure timely replenishment (demand plan) aligned with sales plan; in charge of investment responsibilities (CAPEX). • Reporting, performance monitoring, evaluation of risks and opportunities • Integration Lead for acquired Solvay Corp. Austria - leading the integration, alignment of processes, entity merge, bridge diff. business cultures; successful synergy initiatives led to substantial cost savings.

Audits incl. team leading in several areas: • Finance (Int./Ext. Reporting, Financial Controls, SOX statements, Payables and Receivalbels, IC Reconciliation, Treasury), • Procurement (whole supply chain) and Fixed Asset Management, • Sales & Distribution incl. warehousing, • Marketing & Promotional activities, • Outlicensing (Royalties, Divestments, Co-Marketing) in an intern. business environment (assignments in UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, Slovenia, Romania, South Africa).

• Coordinate the budget process at a global level and manage local controllers for 3 divisions, all in steep ramp-up totaling 700 scientists located on 6 countries, annual expenses 165 Mio USD. • Further tasks incl. cost analysis, performance monitoring, project tracking, mgt. reporting, decision support for capital projects and ext. collaborations, training of local controllers in finance related topics incl. SAP. • Major project: implementation of MIS and development of a global Cost Allocation Model.

• Support the preparation of the site budget incl. investment activity. • Admin. of budget values in SAP FI/CO and monitoring of actual spent. • Submission of monthly reporting packages within tight deadlines • Support the CFO with variance analysis and recommendations for further decision making. • Support year-end close according local (UGB) and international accounting standards (IFRS). • Act as a business partner in a multi-cultural environment. • Major project: implementation of SAP R/3 on site.
