Dr. Christian Pötzsch

I am an Android driver developer working on the low level graphics stack for the PowerVR Rogue hardware. My main responsibilities are the Android native sync framework, hardware composer, display integration and memory management both in user mode and kernel space. In addition I work on the client drivers (OpenGL ES) and I support our customers in whatever challenges they face.

I was the maintainer of the VirtualBox graphical user interface (Qt) which included designing new UI elements, porting the application to new operations systems like Mac OS X, managing the translation process with the community and trying to make the user experiences as smooth as possible. Additionally I did the main work for the OVF import/export functionality, added OpenGL acceleration to the Mac OS X port and implemented the early Drag & Drop prototype.

I wrote the original ROVER application making the quantification and delineation of space-occupying lesions using positron emission tomography easier than ever. This included the development of the delineation algorithms (and verifying them) and the design and implementation of the graphical user interface (Qt). The application is used by several research institutions, world wide, today.
