I am an ecologist with a background in population genetics and animal behaviour. I've worked for over a decade in technical and research assistant, supporting several projects either as a genetic technician or as a wildlife biologist. From my previous employments, I've obtained expertise in data and statistical analyses, as well advanced knowledge of genetic and animal ecology experimentation and research. I am always motivated to learn more to assist my fellow colleagues and institutions with their goals. I am an organized employee with experience in teamwork and optimization of the workflow. During this period, I was responsible for field and laboratory tasks, under several conservation genetic research projects. Tasks included collection of genetic samples from humane live-trapping or faecal samples of mammals, management of databases and biological collections, extraction of samples, PCR amplification and Sanger sequencing, as well as analysing microsatellites and barcode sequences. I was also responsible in developing protocols in the laboratory.
