Hired to power Trendyol's expansion into Europe & MENA, I designed and built from scratch the Content & Translation Management System (CTMS) — a greenfield global service that centralizes localization for every team in the company. In parallel, I assembled the new team around this domain and coached it in software engineering best practices.

Helped build the Non-Commission-Revenue team (now AdTech) and developed from scratch a global ad service used in 40 countries, delivering 75M+ premium placements daily at sub-20ms latency. Designed a proprietary geo-partitioning algorithm turning raw geography into sellable ad inventory — a core monetization mechanism. This API provides the necessary data to a client, a Nodejs application, which prepares it for to the user by generating the appropriate control interface.

Foodpanda is a is a online platform for food delivery implemented in more then 27 countries. My main responsibility was the implementation of Apache Solr search server for restaurants search page. The implementation improves accuracy and speed of the search process and makes the application more scalable. I was able to acquire deep knowledge of Solr and use the newest features of Solr: spatial search, function queries.

Nu3 is a multitier ecommerce platform build on 2 applications: one in the frontend developed with Yii framework specialized in reading and one in the backend developed with Zend framework specialized in writing. As a backend developer I worked mostly with backend which was formed by loose-coupled components which are providing complex operations like: product catalog management, order processing with state-machine, customer management, cart calculation.

- www.poged.com (www.gamercharts.com) is a gamers community portal , build with Zend framework hosted on load balancing Nginx servers . - AdWordsProductsTool it’s a manager for AdWords product campaigns. The application permits to automatically stop the campaign of unused or out of stock products . Besides the architecture and develop of these 2 applications I was responsible for servers installation and maintenance.

www.commentarist.de was an innovative online media platform which gather, compare and track the opinions of the main journalists from German Media. As one of the interesting tasks I had to develop a very smart crawling solution, which automatically extracts and organizes data related to the articles we needed to feed the system. I also developed a subscription system to a favorite theme or author.
