Research project: *microRNA-449 impedes the generation of pluripotent stem cells from fibroblasts Methods: Establishment and improvement of Induced Pluripotent Stem cells method in the lab; RNA isolation and cDNA production; analysis of genetic expression by qPCR, cell transfection; virus production; manipulation and transduction.

Research project: *Cloning and Split-TEV assay for G-Protein Coupled Receptors Methods: Luciferase-reporter assay; bacterial transformation and ligation; PCR; cloning; cell culture.

I could learn basic research lab techniques specifically in the area of microbiology. Methods: Bacterial manipulation and culture; plasmid preparation; DNA isolation, digestion and ligation; Western Blot and electrophoresis.

Research project: Characterization of the wild type Saccharomyces cerevisiae in bioreactors. Granted with a DANISCO student Scholarship. I could do a research project in a multicultural environment where I learned the industrial application of my studies.

In Business Management in Biotechnology course I learned about the fundamentals of new drugs or medical devices discovery, creation and management of biotechnology-companies; business administration, leadership and executive skills, marketing, project management and I prepared a Drug Discovery draft
