I collaborated on two European Union projects, where I researched scalable synchronization free protocols for large-scale distributed systems and multi-core concurrent programs. - Developed AntidoteDB, a scalable and highly available geo-replicated database that supports CRDTs. AntidoteDB is now used by our academic and industrial research partners. - Developed a model for highly scalable concurrent objects that helps to scale multi-core programs by reducing the synchronization needed.

I was involved in the development of X265 video encoder, an open source high-performance encoder for encoding video streams into the H.265/MPEG-H HEVC compression format. - Improved encoding speed by parallelizing key computations by converting them to vectorized instructions using Intel SSE instruction set. - Implemented features that encode videos with tunable bitrate and encoding speed.

I was researching the approaches for dynamic content and application delivery over distributed cloud infrastructures. Developed a new model to optimize the placement of application components on distributed clouds which improves the Quality of Experience of Internet Applications.

Built a web portal to enable users to use single sign-on using their existing institution account, so that they can access grid computing resources easily. Implemented a web portal for managing jobs on the grid. Set up form-based authentication and HTTP-digest authentication. Implemented SAML based single sign-on.
