Vice president of one of the world's largest and oldest free/open software organizations. KDE e.V. provides support and infrastructure for private and commercial contributions in the KDE sphere, and acts as a key liason between KDE and its partners, including the Qt Co. and other major free and open software organizations. Helping to guide the KDE organization's activities and implementing its goals. As treasurer, significantly increased the organization's annual income and sponsors to new record levels.

Deeply engaged in KDE e.V.'s activities to support and promote the KDE community and technologies. Participated in KDE e.V.'s System Administration working group.

Ongoing extensive design and code contributions to KDE's flagship desktop user interface, Plasma, implementing core UI such as the taskbar, the desktop file management system, application launcher menus ("start menus") and the underlying library stack, built on Qt. The top contributor in code/commits to the Plasma Desktop repository. Helped push along important technology transitions in the KDE/Plasma/Qt stack (OpenGL-accelerated UI, touch UI, app. convergegence, Wayland). Maintained several applications.

Lead and assembled teams to grow the company's contributions to the industry, as well as work with its commercial partners. Worked on designing key protocols to integrate the KDE Plasma technology with third-party technology stacks on embedded consumer electronics systems. Guided the creation of new core technologies in harmony with the KDE Plasma/Qt stack.

Continued to design, implement and maintain many key areas of KDE's Plasma user interface, built on Qt, expanding from desktop into mobile/embedded systems. Worked extensively on the library stack underpinning KDE Plasma, both KDE Frameworks and Qt. Helped push forward Plasma's transition to the Wayland windowing system. Became top contributor in code/commits to KDE Plasma Desktop.

Designed and implemented key user interface and backend technology for desktop PCs in KDE's Plasma project, such as: The taskbar and windowing system interaction; the desktop file management system; application launch interfaces ("start menus").

Taught development of software systems in Python to clients.

Part of the team that proposed and spear-headed KDE's transition from Subversion to git and modern development workflows. Wrote key policy and documentation governing KDE's developer account and ACL management and code repository access.

Worked on Qt/C++-based desktop software for clients.
