Currently working in a plant for the production of modified isocyanates, a reaction plant in which various precursors for paints and adhesives are produced. Among the well-known products manufactured is Desmodur N. I am responsible for the maintenance and support of plant components as well as the procurement of information and research into safety-relevant fittings. In addition to maintenance, the focus is on optimization measures to improve systems and individual apparatus.

Research in the field of electrochemistry with a focus on the optimisation of process parameters in chlorine electrolysis with oxygen depolarised cathodes. The aim was to produce high-purity caustic soda and chlorine with simultaneous energy management. Statistical design of experiments, multivariate regression analysis and multidimensional optimization were used to determine ideal operating conditions in order to reduce energy consumption and increase the efficiency of the electrolysis process.

Maintenance of a chlor-alkali electrolysis plant with a focus on the technical monitoring and optimisation of processes. Responsible for the regular inspection and maintenance of plant components, as well as carrying out technical inspections in cooperation with the responsible inspection organisation. Creating and implementing maintenance plans to ensure plant availability and safety. In addition, monitoring and analysing operating parameters to detect and rectify faults at an early stage.

Completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic as part of a dual study programme in a company that produces thermoplastic polyurethane. Activities included changing and repairing equipment, machines and fittings as well as carrying out repairs on defective components, followed by re-installation in the production plant. In addition, maintenance plans were processed and implemented to ensure trouble-free operation.
