I scaled entire platform from 0k users to 500k users. I’m responsible for everything related to the product. From branching strategies to deployment pipelines, UI reviews, back-end implementation, front-end logic, scalability strategies, profiling, monitoring, logging. SICS has a custom hadoop fork called "HOPS". In HOPS, NameNode has better fault tolerance abilities. My task was to implement Native Erasure Coding into HOPS. The difference from mainline Hadoop was that HOPS has its own Erasure Coding framework. Therefore, integration part was totally different. Majority of the code stays on native side. I was paid by Google Summer of Code and worked for Redhat/QEMU. I developed Docker image support for Libvirt. I mostly wrote C and python. My commits are public and now upstream.

I worked on Confine Project. I was responsible for the linux containers of the project. My task was to convert lxc images to Docker and to build a maintainable virtual environment for scientists. I wrote a command line tool that interacts with RESTful services.

Tested, Designed and Developed company’s license platform. Developed a J2EE/Java application with custom components on angularJS for license generating. Developed license validation APIs in Java and in C++ Used cmake to compile beautifully written C++ code into Windows, Linux and Solaris Used Bouncy Castle as a java security provider and OpenSSL binaries to provide consistent cryptography for cross platform builds for both managed and native code.

MBS Project is the Turkey’s national linux distribution based on Debian that is being used in the intranet of Ministry of Defense in Turkey Maintained custom debian packages which were deployed in 500+ terminal servers Built LTSP skeleton and made customizations on LXDE desktop manager Designed LDAP Scheme and partially replicated into 500+ terminal servers Setup Postfix, Dovecot and Address Book service with LDAP integration Setup Heartbeat as a load balancer between multi master LDAP servers
