Responsible for purchasing all materials for two breweries and three warehouses from 60+ suppliers to support $350 million of retail sales. Responsible for managing an annual budget of $40 million and successfully maintained a just-in-time inventory strategy for all packaging inventory while achieving 39 inventory turns per year.

- Created and drove the implementation of terminal working plans designed to achieve operational directives and maximize the use of productive assets. - Directed and led a workforce of up to 50 unionized workers in a live operational environment acting as their single point of contact for all operational issues. - Actively negotiated and communicated with multiple internal departments as well as external managers to align project goals to facilitate the most efficient operation possible.

- Analyzed and forecasted weekly demand of inbound and outbound inventory, maximizing terminal capacity and increasing operational productivity. - Collaborated with multiple internal departments to create and develop terminal throughput plans, through the establishment of best practices and a culture of continuous improvement.

- Improved accuracy of inventory forecasting by identifying recurring discrepancies and inconsistencies of inventory projections through the review of historical data and the analysis of the variances between forecasted and actual inventory. - Coordinated internally to develop new procedures and checks to improve the forecasting process and collaborated with customers to ensure new procedures were maintained.

- Fostered trusting and reliable relationships with customers and coordinated with multiple departments to enhance customer experience, while effectively managing and resolving disputes. - Reduced errors and increased the overall speed of a monitoring process by creating an Excel based template to semi-automate the operation.

- Increased efficiency of inbound vessel preparation and saved 15 work hours per week of staff time by automating a manual process of colour coding. - Proactively worked with internal billing department to streamline the process and checklists for vessel billing through the creation of standardized checklists and procedural changes. Reduced internal billing errors and revision by a 5:1 ratio and decreasing the billing cycle by 2 days.

- Developed a user-interface Total Logistics Cost model to determine optimal, cost-minimizing inventory management practices by creating a database in Excel. - Collected relevant data from sources that were fragmented or incomplete by researching costs and through put times online and compiling them into a coherent dataset.
