Technological- and Business Development of Alternative Products like EAF, BOF and Ladle Slag Conditioner, Slag Splashing Agents, Tundish Covering Powder and other sustainable products out of spent refractory materials. Embedding the products in a Process Improvement Solution based on Metallurgical Software Solutions for the respective steel making units; providing as well onsite solutions for steel plants to use their spent refractories properly.

Leading the workstreams of Internal & Product Development, Technik & Market and Business Development to implement the Alternative Product Portfolio in Europe and roll it out globally afterwards.

Developing an Alternative Products portfolio out of spent refractory material that can not be reused again in refractory brick production to avoid landfilling costs and CO2 emissions. The products cover a range from slag conditioner, covering powder, synthetic slags, slag splashing agents and more. They are created out of spent refractory material from the steel the NFM, cement and lime industry and enriched with other incrediantes.

Support to set up the “Industry 4.0 product-life-cycle” of RHI Magnesita into a future orientated visual display system at the METEC fair. In the framework of the task he was interacting with different specialists and departments (Technical Marketing, Sales, Corporate Communications, IT, 4.0/CRM, Academy).

Inspiring young people for the studies of metallurgy. Developing a future roadmap and marketing strategy and coordinating of differnet PR projects. Development of the social media occurs. Strategic and operative tasks in public relations and maketing activities for the deparment of metallurgy.
