Heading the ofice of the Dr. Sauer Company in London as Managing Director, combining the roles of the senior SCL/NATM design engineer, project manager and project director in one person. Projects delivered so far: Tottenham Court Road Station Stage G Design; Bond Street Station Stage D+ design; VSU CAT 3 Check of stage D design; Green Park Station Design-Build 100% design

Being part and later heading the site supervision team for the SEM/NATM works at the Beacon Hill Station Tunnels in Seattle, WA. A complex underground Station as part of Sound Transit's Light Rail Service along the Puget Sound connecting Downtown Seattle to SeaTac airport in the south. Adverse ground conditions made construction of the - among others - largest NATM tunneles in the USA a challanging and sometimes nerve-wrecking effort, which in the end was boldy mastered by Obayashi and BEMO.

Shift engineer and later Head of the Site Supervision team for the Russia Wharf Tunnels of Phase II of Boston's MBTA Silver Line project. The first ever combination of NATM tunnelling massive underpinning and Ground Freezing in the USA. Later Senior design engineer for the Silver Line Phase III project in the URS/DMJM-Harris JV in the cosy office at Boylston Street with a view on the Boston Common.
