In this project I was involved in preparing the chick heads for optical projection tomography (OPT), by making them transparent by using tissue clearing techniques. Later, the cleared tissue was visualised in OPT in 3D. Apart from that I was involved in several other techniques like, Immunohistochemistry, Tissue sectioning, In Situ hybridisation. I was acknowledged in the article“Apical constriction and epithelial invagination are regulated byBMP activity¨

I worked for a paid project in "Evaluation and adaptation of tissue clearing approaches using chemicals for optical projection tomography (OPT) imaging of pancreatic tissue" I learnt Optical projection tomography instrument operation and handling, which is 3D visualisation tool for optically cleared tissue. I was testing different chemical clearing protocols for this project.During this project I learnt, tissue sectioning, tissue dissection, mounting of tissue in agarose, chemical handling procedures.
