Using a combination of flexible and rigid PCBs, characterize silicon wafers and single chips (ISFETs and Op-Amps) through semiconductor parameter analyzers, power supplies, and oscilloscopes. Learning to design PCBs through Altium Designer software can be used to test sensor chips. Documentation of test results, making Python codes by merging large sets of data and plotting these using OriginLab software, and presenting the findings through literature review.
• Topic: "Characterization of Floating Gate Chemically Sensitive Field Effect Transistor pH Sensors" • Comparision and give a conclusion regarding the difference between Au and Pt Psudo reference electrodes for both sensors & op-amps. • Comparision and conclude whether both ISFET sensors & Op-Amps are satisfied regarding sensitivity and transconductance according to the Nernst limit. • Analyze sensors in the long term with different pH measurements and find important parameters like drift and Hysteresis
• Characterized of existing CMOS components on a Semiconductor Parameter Analyzer. • Develop and use of automation processes in data acquisition and evaluation. • Classified results in the current state of research and development of CMOS components. • Insight into current research projects at the EMFT in the laboratory and clean room. • Reviewing literature, getting familiar with new topics and presenting obtained results from NMOS, ISFET sensors and silicon wafers.
