I worked with middle sized companies, INGOs and private individuals, supporting them in a range of transformative processes such as leadership coaching, team coaching, team building and organisational consulting.

I was responsible for leadership development, executive coaching, people management and organisational development in the Africa Division of Christian Aid. My work included: Professional executive coaching for senior leaders across Africa and the UK, design, facilitation of leadership and management development, facilitation of team building and conflict transformation, organisational development interventions , facilitation and design of major conferences and workshops.

During this period I closely worked together with the Head of Division in all aspects of leadership and management of the Division across 13 countries in Africa, including programme strategy, management of Country Managers, organisational development and budgetary oversight and planning.

I led the Ghana country programme and office for Christian Aid during this period. This included setting up the office, recruiting staff, managing the team, leading on and developing the country strategy (focus: advocacy and governance), representing Christian Aid externally, fundraising, leading on the country strategy, budgetary oversight, development of partnerships and capacity development of national partners.

This was a sabbatical in Free Town, Sierra Leone, during which I facilitated an organizational and systems development process, team and individual coaching and coaching of working pairs .

I was leading on the Ghana country programme from London. This included programme strategy and development, annual planning and reporting, management of relationships with donors and partners, budgetary and financial control, project cycle and grant management, frequent monitoring visits to partners in the region, donor fundraising and reporting and facilitation of capacity development of national partner organisations.

I was managing the Ghana programme for Christian Aid. This included development and implementation of 5-year country policy and strategy for the programme and preparation of annual country planning and review reports. management of relationships with partners and donors, development of new partner portfolio, project cycle and grant management and donor fundraising, frequent monitoring visits to partners in the region, budgetary and financial control and provision of technical support to partners.

The role included supporting local staff in establishing and running local offices, monitoring of country office expenditure and development of financial and administrative systems with field staff, project cycle management and management of partner relationships, monitoring visits to the region , supporting the Programme Manager in strategic planning and donor fundraising.

The role included supporting the Programme Manager in regional programme strategy, project cycle management and development of proposals with partners, budget monitoring and grant administration, training of staff in the region and supporting the Communications Officer in promoting work to the public in the UK.

The role included budget monitoring and preparation of budgets and financial reports to DFID and the World Bank, establishment of financial system, editing and publishing Secretariat research products and maintaining Secretariat website.

Based in London, I assisted the programme staff for Africa and Latin America in the preparation of project proposals, financial and narrative project reports and capacity development initiatives of partner organisations in the regions.

The role included managing and entering financial data for stock exchanges across the world and communicating with them, using multiple international languages.
