Heading the Event and Group Booking Centre

Leading a team of 4, looking after 24 small to medium event suites with a capacity between 10 - 190 guests (dinner seating). Main events include short lead business meetings, multiple days conferences, exhibitions, press junkets, training weeks, press conferences, product launches, corporate receptions and dinners as well as private parties. As part of the event organisation I am also looking after the group room bookings from name entry over group arrival all the way through to invoicing.

Responsible for organising large corporate and private events in our Ballroom and Great Room between 350 - 2000 guests (45 per annum). Account Manager for the more prestigious events such as BAFTA Film Awards. Other events include corporate annual dinners for upto 1970 guests, hotel wide confererences of 600 guests using all 27 meeting spaces, corporte and private anniversary parties with extensive theming, charity gala dinners and even a live profi boxing event.

Managing a variety of events and accounts for the Ballroom and Great Room, ranging from award dinners to conferences to exhibitions including a number of annual events. Account manager for a variety of annual clients with responsibility for building and maintaining client relationships throughout. Responsible for contract negotiation, diary contol, event preparation through to billing and event debrief.

Hotel in central London with 834 rooms and suites. Leading team of 4 during each shift. Daily tasks include VIP and group room allocation, liaison with housekeeping, checking group invoice postings against rooming list and contract.
