Beside the assignment as Staff Assistant Infrastructure, I have had the general supervision of all clerical duties pertaining to the MOB Sigonella. As top-tier admin personnel am reporting to the On-Site Commander, the acting executive officer and its deputy commander. As Chief Clerk I was also managing the day-to-day operations of the command and Staff Advisory Group.

The activities are carried out within the G3Branch/Eff Coord Section/Fire Support / Air Management Sub-Section (FS/AM). The FS/AM Sub-Section has the objective to provide advice to ACOS G3 on all matters related to the planning, preparation, conduct, control and evaluation of Fire Support/Air Management tasks for operations of the corps in the entire mission spectrum. The Sub-Section consists of the Chief, a Cmd/Coord element and 4 Cells, one of which is the AAvn Cell.

Als Hauptfeldwebel im Bereich des Heeres war ich als militärischer Vorgesetzter tätig. Der KpFw ist zuständig für den Innendienst und gem. ZDV 10/5 in dieser Funktion Vorgesetzter mit besonderem Aufgabenbereich, und, soweit es für die Erfüllung seine Aufgaben erforderlich ist, Vorgesetzter aller Unteroffiziere und Mannschaften seiner Einheit. Er unterstützt den Kompaniechef in vielen Bereichen (Personal, Innere Führung) und arbeitet der vorgesetzten S1-Abteilung zu.

As a Platoon Commander for a logistic platoon I was responsible for equipment and the health, welfare, and training of a 26 Soldier and 9 Civilian withe the overall taskt of logistic resupply of spare parts, TCI, supply, and maintenance items for rotary wing assets. As section chief and Logistics Data Base Administrator I’ve served as the POC for supported units of AAvn Rgt 16. In close coordination with the support operations section I’ve conducted continuous logistics support.

I was responsible for equipment and the health, welfare, and training of a 72 Soldier platoon with six subordinate Drill Sergeants. The basic duties are to act as a positive role model for all Initial Entry Training (IET) Soldiers by portraying the military Values and Norms of the Basic Law are realised in the Bundeswehr and conducts all training to standard using the assist and insist method of training under the Joint Service Regulation 3/11 and JSR 10/1.
